Nigerian Army Opens Recruitment for 92 Regular Recruits Intake in Oyo
The Nigerian Army has commenced recruitment for the 92 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for Tradesmen/Tradeswomen and Non-Tradesmen/Non-Tradeswomen, with qualified indigenes of Oyo State invited to apply.
The recruitment exercise, which commenced on September 9, 2026, will run until October 21, 2026.
A public service announcement signed by the Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, stated that the application form is free and available online through the Nigerian Army’s official recruitment portal.
According to the announcement, all applications will be screened, while successful and qualified applicants will be shortlisted for the physical screening exercise at the State Recruitment Centre, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo, Odogbo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The state government advised interested male and female indigenes of Oyo State to obtain their Oyo State Indigeneship Certificate as part of the process of confirming their eligibility as bona fide indigenes of the state.
The certificate can be obtained at Room 53, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, as well as the state’s liaison offices in Abuja and Lagos.
The government urged eligible Oyo State indigenes to take advantage of the opportunity and encouraged members of the public to circulate the information widely to ensure that qualified candidates are adequately informed before the October 21 deadline.
