Alhaji Muritala Ifawale Adekola, also known as E le Omo Buruku Danu, is warning police officers not to conspire with land grabbers on his father’s land in Ibadan.
The Adekola family, who are the original owners of the land, have raised concerns about high-profile land grabbers attempting to forcefully invade their property located at Alatare, Balogun Toriola, Oosajin Ojude’s land in the Ologuneru area of Oyo State.
Alhaji Muritala alleges that certain police officers, including dismissed members of the Oodua People’s Congress, are involved in the gang trying to seize the family’s property as well as claiming other lands in the state.
He urges police officers not to get involved in order to avoid losing their jobs.
The issue is currently in court, with Alhaji Muritala expressing his concern that the land grabbers want to encroach on the property by force.
He emphasizes that the family possesses all the necessary documents to prove their ownership of the land and urges those who purchased land from scammers to wait for the court judgment.
Alhaji Muritala appeals to the appropriate authorities to intervene and warns trespassers about the legal consequences of their actions.
He mentions that the land grabbers presented a photo of a deceased person in various locations to falsely claim ownership.
Overall, he asserts that he is a peaceful and law-abiding citizen of Nigeria and calls for justice in the matter.
