Christmas Message: CAC Head, Pastor Oladele, emphasizes righteousness as the key to Nigeria’s prosperity

In his sermon at this year’s Christmas Carol, Pastor Samuel Oladele, the President of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, emphasized the importance of righteousness in bringing prosperity to Nigeria.

Referring to the story of King Solomon in his sermon titled ‘Crowning King Solomon the Second Time’, Pastor Oladele compared Solomon’s first hurried coronation during a crisis to the temporary acceptance of Jesus by many Nigerians during their own crises.

He urged Nigerians to accept Jesus permanently to save their souls and emphasized that righteousness is essential for the exaltation of a nation.

“While Nigeria is known as one of the most prayerful countries, prayers without righteousness hold no meaning. We must return to the virtue of righteousness, as it is the only hope for Nigeria’s prosperity,” Pastor Oladele stated.

He called for repentance from sins and the eradication of corruption, killings, banditry, and other evils. He expressed concern over individuals in positions of power supporting these acts and stressed that only after repentance and righteousness will God in heaven show mercy to Nigeria.

Supporting Pastor Oladele’s message, the church’s Director of Publicity, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode, urged Christians who accepted Christ during times of crisis to fully surrender to Him.

He emphasized the need for complete salvation of both the body and soul.
