In a recent press release Dr. Afolayan, the Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Oyo State, reassured Nigerians that the government is actively addressing their demands.
She stated this during a radio interview on Tanwonyo Expo on Amuludun 99.1 FM, she highlighted the government’s responsiveness through NOA’s feedback mechanism. Notable demands include the revitalization of refineries, emphasis on the agricultural sector, and the distribution of palliatives to citizens.
The statement, issued by the media unit of NOA, emphasized Dr. Afolayan’s role in the sensitization drive during the Christmas season.

She particularly highlighted the agency’s engagement with commuters, drivers, and road users to ensure the safety of those traveling across the country for Christmas celebrations.
Addressing the festive season, the State Director appealed to citizens to celebrate modestly, advising against unnecessary expenses.
She specifically urged youths to refrain from criminal activities and advocated against drug abuse, encouraging them to focus on productive activities and skills acquisition to combat unemployment.
Looking ahead to the local government elections in the state, Dr. Afolayan disclosed that NOA is collaborating with OYSIEC to mobilize residents for widespread participation.
