The Oyo state National Orientation Agency organized a Christmas Carol that featured national prayers as the main focus.
It aimed to commit the nation to the hands of God and overcome its challenges.
Pastor Adelegan led a powerful prayer session, fervently praying for the liberation and well-being of the citizens. He emphasized the need for God’s intervention in Nigeria at this critical time and urged citizens to live virtuous lives to please God.
Mrs Dolapo Dosumu, the former State Director of the Agency, expressed her gratitude to the past directors for their dedication in making the Carol and Ramadan festival annual events.
She also called for support and cooperation for the present Director, Dr Olukemi Afolayan, who is projecting a positive image of the Agency.
In her welcome address, Dr Olukemi Afolayan encouraged Nigerians not to be discouraged by current challenges, assuring them that it would soon be over. She emphasized the importance of patriotism, law-abiding behavior, and tolerance to achieve the nation of their dreams.
Prince Adesola Sanda, the Deputy Director of General Duties and Local Governments Administration, and Chairman of the Christmas Carol Committee, highlighted that the event was not only to praise God but also to seek His guidance for the country and its leaders.
The NOA Choir members added to the event’s glamour with their melodic renditions of praise songs.
The program was attended by various dignitaries, including Pastor Adelegan of CELM Church Foundation, Pastor Mrs. H Adelegan, Mrs. Dolapo Dosumu, Apostle Dare Ojo, Olusola Otunuga, a representative of the DSS Director, Acc Alao Victoria representing NDDS, Adeyemi AA representing Dr Suleiman Adeniran, Chairman of SUBEB, and Tayo Adebayo representing the Public Complaint Commission, Comrade Adewumi Faniran the deputy director News, Federal Radio Corporation 
among others.
