Time to Eradicate Corruption is Now
NOA WAI Brigade Commander Emphasizes the Need to Take Immediate Action
City, Date – Corruption has long been compared to a festering wound, capable of spreading and destroying the entire system. This analogy underscores the urgency emphasized by the head of the WAI Brigade, NOA command, who partnered with other anti-corruption agencies for a walk this morning to observe International Anti-Corruption Day.
Every year, the 9th of December is designated by the United Nations as International Anti-Corruption Day, rallying global efforts to eliminate the menace of corruption. Comrade Moshood Waheed, the NOA WAI Brigade Commander, expressed his concern about the rapid spread of corruption, especially in third-world countries, and called for a united commitment to eradicate it.
In a press release from the Agency’s Media Unit, signed by Isiaka Adeniyi and made available to the press in Ibadan this morning, it was announced that Oyo NOA organized a solidarity walk to commemorate International Anti-Corruption Day. The aim of this activity was to sensitize citizens about the importance of maintaining moral integrity and to discourage engaging in corrupt activities detrimental to the progress of the nation.
The release also mentioned the participation of other groups, including Royal Ambassador, Peace Corp, and National Youth Service Corps, alongside NOA WAI Brigade officials in this notable exercise.
