“I strongly urge the Oyo State Government to investigate the cause of this fire as soon as possible,” Senator Alli said. “It is crucial that we identify what went wrong, so we can take the necessary steps to prevent such devastating incidents from recurring in the future.”

In addition to the call for an investigation, the senator appealed for immediate support and relief efforts to help the affected traders recover from their losses. He highlighted the need for both government and private sector intervention to provide urgent assistance to the victims, including financial aid, material support, and temporary accommodations for those whose livelihoods have been completely wiped out.

“The affected traders need help now, and I appeal to both public and private entities to come together to provide relief to those who have lost everything,” Senator Alli urged. “The road to recovery will be long, but with collective efforts, we can help them rebuild their lives.”

Senator Alli also reassured the victims that he would continue to advocate for them at the state and national levels. He emphasized his commitment to working with all relevant stakeholders, including local government authorities, business organizations, and community leaders, to ensure that the traders receive the necessary assistance and support to rebuild their businesses and recover from the financial impact of the fire.
