The eternal journey of God’s General Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere begins with a service of song at Christ Apostolic Church Oke Imole Agbowo on Monday, October 23rd, 2023.

CAC Oke Imole Agbowo holds significance as the first church planted by Prophet Michael Olowere, following his mentorship under Pastor Durojaye and Baba Budaale.

Oke Imole serves as both the headquarters of the Oke Imole District Coordinating Council and the congregations he founded.

The event served as a significant program outline to pay final respects to Prophet Olowere before his burial.

Pastor Adebiyi Adam, the Chairman of Oke Imole DCC, led numerous ministers who currently serve or have been part of Baba Olowere’s ministry, both locally and internationally, in honoring his memory.

The Oke Imole Agbowo DCC mass choir rendered several special songs, acknowledging Baba Olowere’s well-lived life. Prior to this, all District Superintendents, dressed in white prayer garments, honored Baba Olowere with a melodious song as a final sign of respect to the revered spiritual leader.

Prophet Olowere’s eldest child, Deaconess Toyin Samuel, led her siblings in reading the four lessons during the service. Following this, Pastor SA Adelabu, the initial pastor to collaborate with Baba at Oke Imole Church, delivered the sermon.

In Pastor Adelabu’s sermon titled, “Rewards of Overcomers,” he emphasized that life is a battleground. To triumph, one must surrender to Jesus, exemplified by Prophet Olowere.

Pastor Adelabu highlighted three foes to conquer: the Devil, the Flesh, and the World. He stressed that overcoming these is crucial to reaching the spiritual stature of Baba Olowere and encountering the Lord.

He took the chance to speak briefly about Prophet Olowere, praising his humility and deep respect for everyone he encountered.

Despite the blessings from God, he emphasized that unlike many modern ministers, Baba Olowere remains humble and isn’t obsessed with worldly possessions. Instead, he leads a life focused on fasting, prayers, and contentment with what God has provided, up until his last breaths.

He stated that our present actions in honoring Prophet Micheal Ojo Olowere are achievable thanks to the leader of faith who, having come, seen, conquered, and received God’s blessings. Baba Olowere led a righteous life, refraining from any involvement in secret societies, and devoted himself to fasting, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
